History
The building was built in 1905. First as the the Ramona Hotel from 1918-1950, and the Helena Hotel from 1954-1963+. It is still called the Helena Hotel, which is marked by the iconic Helena neon sign. Blythe Plumbing and Heating occupied one of the retail spaces for almost 50 years from 1915 to 1963!
Other past Tenants included: Alaska Tavern, Frank’s Place Pawnbrokers, Welcome Inn, Tavern, and the Shenandoah Pub to name a few.
