Daylight Properties is a family-owned business located in Bellingham, WA. We own and manage historical buildings and specialize in preserving and maintaining older buildings.
The management company was officially established in 2005 but our owners have been purchasing buildings since the 1990's.
We take pride in the fact that we are different from other property management companies. We work directly with our owners and hire our own maintenance and janitorial team.
Together as a company, we are able to help residential and commercial Tenants with their apartments, offices and retail spaces.

The bank building was built in 1913 and is known for its ornate, high-ceiling lobby and Italian marble. Ever wonder how the Leopold got its name? The Leopold, originally named the Byron Hotel, was built in in 1889 and was later changed to the Hotel Leopold after Leopold F. Schmidt (the founder of the Olympia Brewing Company and owner of the Bellingham Bay Brewery) purchased the Byron for $100,000. Schmidt constructed a 200-room addition to the Hotel Byron, which opened in May 1913. He died in the hotel on September 24, 1914. Its name was soon changed to the Hotel Leopold as a token of appreciation by the hotel's investors. Today happens to be his birthday!Button -
