History
The Knights of Pythias was built in 1891. The previous owners were clothiers and hardware purveyors.
The upper floors were used as a meeting hall for the Knights of Pythias and Masonic Lodge societies. The Knights of Pythias would eventually move their meetings to the Leopold Hotel.
The floors above were then used as office spaces and apartments. Occupation of the upper floors ended in the early 1960s.
